In the 1970s and 80s, Elaine's talent earned her numerous awards in stage production, and she made a significant impact in the world of film and television. She worked on movies such as "Pretty Haddie's Baby," "Home Alone 2," and "Sister Act," and contributed her expertise to ABC Sports, specifically in boxing matches. She styled hair for well-known personalities like Alex Rieger and Dan Dierdorf. Elaine’s skills were also showcased in a series of commercials, including 911 and Port of Subs commercials. Additionally, she provided makeup services for Nevada's governor's Galas and large parties, further solidifying her reputation.

Elaine honed her skills internationally at the Helene Curtis Institute in England, and she studied under Barbara Maggie, a renowned Hollywood makeup artist. This diverse training enriched her expertise and kept her at the forefront of industry trends.
